Ginger Ice Cream

[Makes 1 pint]
1 pint of Half & Half
2-3 tbs crystallized or candied ginger, finely chopped
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup sugar plus 2 tbs

Combine ingredients, pour into the ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for freezing.
